'Man of Steel 2' aka 'Batman vs Superman': New Batsuit is Not Like Christopher Nolan's Black Cape, It is Grey & White—Reports
"Man of Steel 2" aka "Batman vs Superman" is one of the most awaited films of coming times. The reason why the film has got audience hooked is its interesting premise starring three superheroes including Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman.
Moreover, what makes this film all the more exciting is Ben Affleck's caped crusader costume. The buzz has it that unlike Christopher Nolan's all-black costume in "The Dark Knight," Affleck will be donning a blue-and-grey-coloured Batsuit.
Popular comic book writer Kevin Smith, who claims to have seen the Batsuit many months ago, revealed interesting information about the colour of Ben Affleck's Batsuit on episode #168 of his Hollwood Babble-On podcast.
"As you may remember I saw a photo of the Batsuit many months ago and a lot of people asked online 'is that the picture you saw'? [the picture here refers to the Batsuit recently revealed by director Zack Snyder] No. That is a very cool picture but that's not the picture I saw. They put it on a fake rooftop and they lit it and stuff like that, but it was in color and you could see every piece of detail, " Kevin said.
Smith went on to suggest Affleck's Batsuit is blue and grey in colour, similar to the one worn by Batman in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" series.
"So what the suit looks like... and I was always kind of keeping it quiet until they revealed it, but they've f---ing revealed it.... If you want to see what this f---ing suit looks like, you just go to Frank Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns,' go to the third book, Hunt the Dark Knight... it's the exact f---ing outfit he's wearing, " he said on his podcast.
The official photo of Ben Affleck Batsuit's in full colour is yet to be released.
"Man of Steel 2" main star cast include Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
