"Intelligence" star Josh Holloway has been thrown into the casting rumours for upcoming Batman-Superman film "Man of Steel 2." The circulating casting reports for the character Aquaman apparently reached the model-turned-actor and he sounded interested in portraying the role while giving his reaction about it.

In the IGN interview, Josh Holloway admitted that getting cast as Aquaman in "Man of Steel 2" would be a cool experience. "I'm an actor, I like different roles. Batman movies are awesome, Marvel movies are awesome," the 44-year-old former "Lost" actor shared.

However, Mr Holloway confessed the problem he must deal with if he indeed gets cast in the movie sequel: work schedule. "I'm in a series right now. I think they usually want to sign you up for several movies and I don't know if you can do that when you're committed to a series," Josh revealed.

In the "Man of Steel 2" film that Zack Snyder will direct, British actor Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman as well as Amy Adams who portrays character Lois Lane. Ben Affleck and "Fast and Furious 6" star Gal Gadot will be joining the cast members as superheroes Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively.

The Ace Showbiz report claims the villains in "Man of Steel 2" will be Lex Luthor and Metallo where the evil business magnet buys the Daily Planet "for PR purposes." Other Justice League members are rumoured to appear in the upcoming film but no official statement has been released to confirm or deny the casting reports.

Username NeoGaf spread spoiler reports about Aquaman in "Man of Steel 2" on a gaming message board, the Ace Showbiz report further added. NeoGaf's spoiler reads: "Aquaman is in it, but not called Aquaman. He's there because the world engine in the ocean did something to the fish."

The other rumoured spoilers in the report claims Wonder Woman will be posing as a Wayne Enterprises investor in order to recover an item that belongs to her people, Robin betrays Batman causing the conflict between them, Superman will be living in exile at the end and the Justice League becomes a government approved superhero team.

"Man of Steel 2" released date has been pushed back to May 6, 2016 from the initially reported schedule of July 17, 2015.
