The man of steel star and British actor, Henry Cavill split with Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco according to reports. The two were said to have been dating for almost two weeks until they called it quits says a source as reported by E!online.

The couple had recently entered the limelight as a couple and people have been guessing and speculating how long the romance had been going on between the two before they decided to call it quits. Sources say that the two have decided to remain good friends.

After announcing their romance last July 1, the paparazzi have been able to capture a lot shots of the two hiking together and even holding hands outside a supermarket in Los Angeles.

The two have had past relationships-Cavill having dated "Haywire" actress Gina Carano just this year while Kaley dated bassist of Pepper, Bret Bollinger after her split with Josh Resnik who was her then fiancé. She had also mentioned that in 2010, she dated her co-star Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard on the Big Bang Theory for two years. The two had never revealed their relationship to the public. Kaley had said that "It was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together."
