The most beautiful woman in the world is finally home, Miss World Megan Young arrived in fashion as she greet her adoring fans Thursday afternoon at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). The 23-year-old host/actress arrived in her home country the Philippines after 10 days of winning the crown and was accompanied by Miss World Organization chairman and CEO Julia Morley.

The Philippines' first Miss World, Young arrived via Cathy Pacific flight CX 919 from London. She waved excitedly to her fans wearing the elusive "blue crown" and the Miss World sash, she looked amazing with her simple make-up as she gave a short speech shedding tears of joy.

"It's an amazing feeling," Young managed to say as she tried to hold back her tears. "It's an overwhelming feeling, how warm I was met here in the Philippines."

"These are tears of joy. I'm just really happy to be home and just really happy to see everyone," she said.

After 10 days of being Miss World, Young still felt "surreal" and said she was just "enjoying the moment and what's happening right now."

She hopes to spend more time with her family and friends, "to see them and hug them."

After the speech, she went straight to Solaire for the Official Press Conference and went SM Mall of Asia (MOA) to open the NBA pre-season games. At the same venue, Young joined the NBA players of Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers as she leads the ceremonial toss.

The homecoming parade will take place today, Oct. 11 on Ayala Avenue which will take the route going to SM Mall of Asia where she is scheduled to have a Meet-and-Greet.

Julia Morley never left her side and as she supported Young like a doting maternal guardian. Young has a tight one-week schedule in the Philippines and just for a day she accomplished a lot of things and there will be more lining up for the next 6 days.
