Manny Pacquiao Announces His Return on September 2013
Setting aside many criticisms after his loss against Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao announced that he is ready to fight again, but who?
Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao declared that he will back in the boxing arena after his disappointing knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez last December.
According to Eddie Alinea of "The Manila Standard Today," the boxing champ will wait a little bit longer before he comes back to boxing. It was said that he is rushed for an April fight but then decides he needs a longer time before he steps back once again.
"Bob Arum and myself have been talking and will continue talking. What is definite is they'll see me fight again come September. Not April nor immediately after that as speculations are going. Tell the public that it won't be long before I make them happy again when I fight," Manny Pacquiao said.
"I want everyone to know that I am well and fully recovered. Thank you very much for everyone's prayers," the boxer added.
It is obvious to him that he has heard both positive and negative feedbacks after his loss to Juan Manuel. And aside from recovering from his last fight and getting himself ready to train once again, Manny is also dealing with groups of people that have given up on him.
The brutal knockout he encountered last December served as a wake up call for him to not be too confident when boxing. He admitted that he became at ease and that served as an advantage for Marquez since his guard was down.
But aside from his scheduled return, another intriguing question is, who will he fight next? There are speculations that he might have a match with Juan Manual Marquez once again. But as far as Manuel is concerned, he doesn't have anything to prove anymore.
But the Mexican and his promoter may consider a deal since their combination is the one that produces the most attractive financial figure for Juan Manuel. Well, who Manny will fight next is still a pending but it's already sure that he will be back in the ring to redeem himself.
