Even though he hasn't started training yet, Freddie Roach is confident Manny Pacquiao will be in his tip-top shape heading into his welterweight clash with Brandon 'Bam Bam' Rios at Venetian Macao in Macau, China.

In an interview with ESNews last weekend, Roach said he expects to start training with Pacquiao early October in the Philippines.

The five-time Trainer of the Year said Pacquiao hasn't started with his preparation yet, but he's doing other activities like playing basketball to stay in shape.

Roach added that he won't made any drastic change in Pacquiao's fighting style, though he wants his prized fighter to throw more jabs and combination of punches.

The trainer believes Pacquiao's experience and power will be the telling factors in the match, predicting his ward to score another sensational knockout at the expense of another fighter with Mexican lineage.

Pacquiao and Rios are both eager to make their case in November after suffering losses against their respective rivals.

Pacquiao suffered a six round knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in the fourth chapter of their bitter rivalry last November while Rios absorbed a unanimous decision loss to Mike Alvarado in another brutal rematch early this year.
