Maria Sharapova On Relationship With Grigor Dimitrov: ‘Everything Is Great’; Dimitrov Was Present At Sharapova’s First Round Match In China
Maria Sharapova has downplayed the news that surfaced recently suggesting that she and boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov have already broken up. Sharapova's statements are proof that everything is going great in her relationship, and nothing is going wrong.
According to a report by Standart News, a Bulgarian news outlet, Sharapova was asked about her relationship with Dimitrov during a press conference in China. A local journalist reportedly told Sharapova that they were getting worried about her romance with the 10th-ranked Dimitrov. The Russian tennis hottie returned that question to the journalist and asked why should there be a need to worry.
"Everything is great," Sharapova said. "Thank you, I appreciate your concern, thank you for caring about me so much," she added.
Dimitrov further dismissed the breakup rumour because he was spotted watching Sharapova's first round match at the 2014 China Open. She didn't not compete in China in 2013 because she had to pull out because of an injury to her right shoulder.
