Following reports that Miley Cyrus and current beau Patrick Schwarzenegger eloped, which drove Patrick's mom Maria Shriver into a frenzy, an insider emerged to say that no such thing would ever happen. Reportedly, Maria and Patrick's sister are not warming up to the idea of Miley being part of their family yet, banning her from a birthday bash and possibly even during Christmas dinner, but they have nothing to fear. Miley is said not to have plans of marrying Patrick out of the blue because she wants a traditional wedding.

Miley and Patrick have been inseparable since becoming an item back in October. Allegedly, they are so compatible with each other that they secretly exchanged vows during a secret ceremony earlier this month, according to the December 29 issue of Life & Style Magazine. Because they have not bought rings for the sudden affair, Miley made rings for her and Patrick using rolling paper. The news reportedly shocked and terrified Patrick's mom to the core. Joke or not, the mother is said to find the idea horrifying because she cannot believe her son could be that impulsive. Moreover, recent reports of Maria talking to son Patrick about the "Wrecking Ball singer," banning Miley from the Christmas Dinner, and not inviting her for Patrick sister's 25th birthday bash showed that the family cannot accept Miley to their circle just yet.

According to Hollywood Life, Patrick's mom has nothing to fear. Miley herself would not get married impulsively. The singer reportedly wants a traditional marriage. She wants a wedding that she would remember forever, and not just a shotgun wedding. The source added that Miley has been in a relationship longer than with Liam but she was not prepared to tie the knot with him. She would not do so with Patrick yet either.

"For Miley to get married, it would have to be right on every single level, and she's not there with Patrick. Hell, she wasn't even ready with Liam [Hemsworth] and they were together much longer. Besides, Miley wants her little sister, [Noah Cyrus], to actually be in her wedding, maybe even walking with her down the aisle when that time comes," the source explained. It seems that Miley promised Noah she'll be an active participant on her wedding, and Miley would never break that promise. However, despite the reports, official comments from respective parties have yet to be issued regarding the matter.
