A veterinarian filed a lawsuit against Mariah Carey for not being able to pay almost $30,000 in fees. Veterinarian Cindy Bressler pressed the charges in a New York court on Wednesday, June 23, accusing the singer that she only paid $8,200 of a $37,800 bill for the "extra services" given to her dogs Cha-Cha, JJ and Dolomite.

The astounding amount is the fee for a month's care. Carey seems to have been having problems in looking after her pooches that she even asked fans on Twitter earlier this week if they would be interested in adopting Cha-Cha's puppies.

New York Post also revealed the details of the legal paper. According to the file, the vet "performed work, labor and services on the defendant's canines... at the agreed price and reasonable value of $37,790.31, which sum [Carey] agreed to pay."

The suit further says that the hitmaker was "unjustly enriched," and seeks the remaining $29,559, plus legal fees.
