Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon Divorce: Nick Reportedly Heartbroken Post Separation, Looks Upset During 'America's Got Talent' Finale

Nick Cannon was reportedly upset during the "America's Got Talent" finale. The show host who has recently decided to separate from wife Mariah Carey was spotted looking extremely sad, according to the reports by Hollywoodlife.

Cannon did put a brave front on Sept 16's "America's Got Talent" finale but backstage he was reportedly not in the best of his spirits.

"Nick Cannon looked deeply sad at the finale. He's such a pro and did a great job staying upbeat during his shots and interacting with the audience, but when camera wasn't on him, he looked like a sad puppy dog, " a source revealed to Hollywoodlife.

Cannon also skipped the press meet and the red carpet event for the show. The show host, contestants and the judges walk the red carpet after the finale and after live show, however Cannon decided to skip it.

"You could definitely tell he had other things on his mind. He looked like you would when you're heartbroken - trying to get through the day and keeping on a brave face, but down inside," the source further told the website.

Cannon and Carey got hitched in 2008. The duo has twins together, Moroccan Scott Cannon, Monroe Cannon. The couple has been plagued by divorce rumours for a while. Nick has himself confirmed the report of their divorce. He confessed in public that he and Mariah are living separately for some time now.

Cannon and Carey have a 10-years age gap and this is being speculated as the major reason of their divorce. Though the real reason for their separation is yet to come to surface.

Meanwhile, Carey is currently busy preparing for her live tour. She is practicing for her Asian tour, as confirmed by her rep to the website. Carey is heading out for a tour to promote her latest album "Me. I Am Mariah ... The Elusive Chanteuse." Carey would also be performing in New Zealand and Australia during her tour.
