Mario Maurer Finds Next Leading Lady in Miss World Megan Young?
Asian heartthrob Mario Maurer and newly-crowned Miss World Megan Young are now being paired to make a full-length flick, just like the hit movie Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
Maurer, who emerged as a big Asian superstar following the success of the Movie First Love, might find himself in a motion picture film with Miss World 2013.
The 24-year old Maurer already did a project in the Philippines with Erich Gonzales in a movie entitled Suddenly It's Magic. The movie was a blockbuster hit as expected, grossing as much as 97 million pesos.
In an interview with Philippine Inquirer during his latest visit in the country to promote horror-romantic film Peemak, the Thai actor said he's very much open to make another movie in the Philippines as he found out that Filipinos are easy to work with.
"There are not many differences, except... in Thailand, it's easier for me to get acquainted with coworkers. When I did "Suddenly," I had to use my second language (English). But the Filipinos never let me feel I was from a different place. I was happy to work with them," said Maurer, who is also one of the most bankable commercial models in Thailand.
"Yes, of course [To do another film in the Philippines]. If I find time, I'll come back-no problem. But first I want to speak better Filipino. It's a very cute language," he added.
There are rumors that Maurer are already doing the second installment of the Crazy Little Thing Called Love with Baifern Pimchanok, three years after the release of the first movie. However, this hasn't been confirmed up to now.
Now, netizens are raving about the possibility of a tandem Mario Maurer and Megan Young, who is an actress and an aspiring filmmaker in the Philippines.
Just hours after Young's victory at the Miss World 2013 in Bali Indonesia, internet users were debating whether or not Maurer and Young are compatible as an on-screen couple.
Are they really a good onscreen couple or it's just a wild fascinaton?
