Taylor Lautner is on his way to becoming the next Hollywood "it" man and this will put older heartthrobs out of a job. While addressing the room at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's annual luncheon in Beverly Hills, actor Mark Wahlberg made an interesting comment directed towards his good friend Leonardo DiCaprio about the supposed decline of their mutual careers.

"I am sitting at a table with a gentleman who is better looking than you and is in better shape than me," said Mark. "So, we're both out of a job, dude. Taylor Lautner! We're screwed." The room burst into laughter. Mark seemed to be in good spirits about handing over the dreamboat reins to Taylor. "It's over, dude," continued Mark. "Titanic and Boogie Nights were a long time ago. I accept it. I had a good run and on to the next."

Taylor was luckily in attendance during the event and was absolutely paralyzed with amusement after hearing Mark's comment. Shocked, but ecstatic, Taylor was thrilled to hear such great compliments coming from a man he respects so much.

"I don't even know the word to describe being here," said Taylor to E!Online. "It's so odd. It's such an honor. I'm up on the stage and talking in front of people like that? The people that I looked up to my entire life? Hearing words like that from Mark and everybody it's just really surreal."
