Mark Zuckerberg, Priscilla Chan Lunar New Year greeting video go viral
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, his wife Priscilla Chan and their firstborn baby have shared a lunar new year greeting with followers, drawing in over a million 'likes' in less than 24 hours. In the viral video, Zuckerberg delivers the greeting in Chinese. The video also announces the Chinese name of the couple's baby daughter, Max.
Over a hundred thousand users have so far shared the Zuckerberg family's Chinese new year greeting video, which also reveals that baby Max now has an official Chinese name: Chen Mingyu.

"This is also a meaningful holiday for Max because we have chosen her Chinese name. Her name is Chen Mingyu. Chen after her mother's family name, and Mingyu represents our hope for a brighter tomorrow for the world," reads the English subtitle of the latest viral video from the Facebook co-founder.
Toward the end of the clip, Zuckerberg asks baby Max whether his Chinese was good. Priscilla chuckles.
Mark and Priscilla announced the birth of their baby on Dec. 1, 2015. On the same day, the couple revealed plans to donate to charity 99 percent of their Facebook shares, estimated to be about US$45 billion (AU$63 billion). The donation will be made in segments over the course of their lives. This was their pledge to their firstborn, who has graced Facebook with adorable photos posted by Zuckerberg himself.

Like millions of Facebook users, Zuckerberg has been actively sharing photos of his daughter. Prior to the Lunar New Year greeting video, Max was last seen on Facebook in a swimming pool snap with her dad. Zuckerberg captions the photo: "Max's first swim. She loves it!"
Facebook was founded on Feb. 4, 2004 or 12 years ago. It is publicly traded on NASDAQ as FB. Reports say more than one billion users actively log on to connect to people via Facebook in any given month.
