'Married at First Sight' Australia episode 7: Keller has a drunken night, risks relationship with Nicole

A third marriage could be proceeding towards an end on “Married at First Sight” after Keller went out on another booze-filled bout that resulted in temporary memory loss and a new tattoo, and which also left his wife in tears.

Keller took to the centre stage on Monday night’s episode, which involved partners meeting their in-laws. The last time Keller grabbed attention was when he got drunk and slut-shamed Bella at the big dinner party. This behaviour of his left Nicole raving at her husband. The psychologist told the couple that honest communication is the solution to get through this problem. But Nicole ignored Keller for a whole flight and a three-hour car trip. Returning to the Gold Coast, the couple still didn’t talk. Instead, Nicole was just seen sulking and lying on a couch with towels on so her tan wouldn’t come off.

After 24 hours, Nicole finally talked to Keller. Keller promised that he would not be a jerk anymore, and though Nicole had her doubts, she told Keller that she believed him. He later took Nicole for a date that involved the beach, easels and finger painting.

The following day, all the couples took a big step ahead and met their partner’s family. Keller’s mother told Nicole that she could tell her son is in love and knew that the two would have a fun life together. This gave Nicole a sigh of relief and she started picturing their future together.

However, keeping things in a good space seems quite tough for Keller. He decided to spend a night with his ex co-workers in the Navy. The next time audiences saw him, it was the middle of the night and Keller was drunkenly smashing a glass on the floor. Apparently, he was so drunk that he couldn’t even recall getting an anchor tattoo on his ankle.

Twitter users belittled keller for his choice of decisions.

The next day, Keller stumbled around the apartment trying to drink again, and Nicole was highly concerned about this.

“It’s just been a f------ sh---- day,” Keller told Nicole.

“So your solution is to get drunk?” she asked him.

He then said that there’s nothing wrong with him and Nicole just gets more upset.

“I don’t know why he’s behaving this way and why he feels he needs to write himself off for,” she said. “I’m gonna go stay with a girlfriend tonight, let him sleep it off. Hopefully I can talk to him about it tomorrow if he remembers what happened."

After this Nicole just packed her bags and left crying.
