Thor has not been seen for quite some time already in the recent Marvel movies, even in “Captain America: Civil War” where loads of Marvel favourites were featured. Fortunately, Marvel has been gracious enough to give fans updates of the whereabouts of Thor just so that they would not miss him too much. Asgard’s biggest heartthrob is doing okay, although it looks like he has been having a hard time coping with America’s pricey rent.

Just after “Captain America: Civil War” was released, a video of Chris Hemsworth doing pull ups came out, as well. Hemsworth was seen carrying the Mjolnir in one hand while smirking at the camera. While he has not appeared in a Marvel movie since “Avengers: Age of Ultron” fans definitely cannot wait to see their favourite Asgardian soon.

So, where exactly is he now? Thor appears to be still buff and still very lost even after spending years on Earth. After defeating a lot of bad guys, he is facing a new challenge -- rent. In a short video, Thor is shown settling the rent bill with his housemate Darryl, and this task is harder than it seems. While settling the bill with a broke human is hard, the video shows how much harder it is to settle the rent with a broke and muscular housemate form Asgard.

Well, not exactly penniless. It has to be remembered that Thor is a prince where he comes from and is worth millions in Earth currency. Thor offers to pay his half of the rent in huge Asgard coins and a jar which he asserts are worth billions of dollars from where they come from. Darryl looks puzzled and tries to figure out how to settle rent with what Thor had offered.

The two then discuss careers. Darryl asks Thor to get a job, to which the latter responds that he does have one and it involves saving planet Earth from a lot of bad guys from different dimensions. That of Darryl’s just involved sitting in front of a cryptic machine the whole day while spewing out words. Thor asserts that information is not really power -- and that muscles are true power. He flexes his muscles one by one and tries to assert authority. At the end of the video, Thor just rides the bike inside the house while poor Darryl is still left figuring out how to settle rent.

Chris Hemsworth returns to his superhero self in “Thor: Ragnarok,” which is expected to hit the theatres in October or November 2017. The film also stars fellow Avenger The Hulk, portrayed by Mark Ruffalo.
