Marvel Studios Reveals Plans for Movies Until 2028: Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman Begin Filming
Marvel Studio's Kevin Feigne has mentioned that Marvel Studios will be producing more movies based on Marvel characters until 2028. Marvel has already released many box office movies that have been successful such as: "Iron Man," played by Robert Downey Jr., "Captain America," played by Chris Evans and "The Avengers," which all have sequels and "The Avengers," will be having its sequel adding two characters: Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch.
Feige had mentioned in an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, saying:
"It's like looking through the Hubble telescope. You go, 'What's happening back there? I can sort of see it, They printed out a new one recently that went to 2028."
Feige had mentioned that they won't be able to acquire the rights to "Spiderman" and "X-Men" anytime soon but it doesn't mean that they can't place new characters into the works. Marvel has the rights to about eight thousand characters and all of which can be featured into movie adaptations and even their very own television series.
The projects in which Marvel could do with all the characters they have are astounding and this is the reason why each sequel there are new characters added. Marvel has a lot of characters that fans would love to see their origins portrayed on television just like "Captain America," and many of the other characters.
As for the much awaited "Superman 2," Henry Cavill will be retaining his role as "Superman." The much awaited acting of Ben Affleck is to be seen as he will be Batman and Wonder Woman will also be part of the movie whereas Gal Gadot will play the role of the Amazon born superhero.
Fans would love to have these characters join Marvel characters and there is a possibility that they do have their own movie adaptation together.
