‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’ Premiere Spoilers: Find Out What Happens In Episode 1, ‘Now Is Not The End’ [Video]

One of the most highly anticipated TV shows, "Marvel's Agent Carter," is about to premiere in a few hours. The show focuses on adventures and missions undertaken by Marvel super heroine Peggy Carter as portrayed by Hollywood actress Hayley Atwell. Set in 1940s America, the series is expected to bring together some other well-known Marvel comics characters. Here are a few spoilers for "Marvel's Agent Carter" Episode 1 (Premiere). According to the press release by ABC on its official website, "Marvel's Agent Carter" depicts the events of the era before Phil Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents took the job of protecting the world. At the time, Peggy Carter assumed the secret role of crime-fighting agent. During the day she worked as Strategic Scientific Reserve and the rest of the day assisted Howard Stark in his secret missions. Stark approaches Peggy Carter and seeks her assistance when he finds himself in a difficult situation. As Peggy Carter digs deeper into the case, she unveils dark secrets of those she works with.

The network has released synopses of "Marvel's Agent Carter Episode 1," teasing exciting spoilers. The first segment of the show is titled "Now is Not the End" and is expected to be an engaging one. According to ABC's media report, in the premiere, Howard Starks finds himself being framed for supplying the deadliest of arms and ammunitions for money. The only person he trusts is Peggy Carter, and he immediately approaches her to help him do three things for him: find those responsible, discard the weapons and clear his name.

Furthermore, viewers will get to meet Edwin Jarvis who is Stark's butler and has been ordered to be at Peggy Carter's beck and call. However, the mission involves great risk for Peggy because if her secret is found out, she will be singled out at as a traitor and could be imprisoned for life.

Meanwhile, the studio has also released a promo video of the first episode of "Marvel's Agent Carter." The promo video published on YouTube.com by Marvel Entertainment shows how Peggy Carter keeps her identity a secret from even her roommate.

Besides Hayley Atwell, "Marvel's Agent Carter" stars James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), Chad Michael Murray (Agent Jack Thompson), Enver Gjokaj (Agent Daniel Sousa), Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark) and more.
