Ever since "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returned for its second half of the first season, creators have succeeded in keeping its fans hooked up with the engaging storyline. Fans of the series know that Phil Coulson and his team have been through several acts of betrayal and fallouts. With no one left to trust, they are struggling hard to keep it together. The organization is crumbling down due to internal chaos and presence of traitors. Skye is gone and so have Ward and the bus. HYDRA has become omnipresent and has assumed commanding position in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. universe.

Few spoilers about "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." finale (Episode 22) are swirling around. While not much is known about the episode, Marvel Web site has released segment's official description. Giving a glimpse into the future of the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the synopsis says that the finale will bring some "dark secrets" to the surface. Coulson and his team (agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will "put everything on line to stop Garrett and the forces of HYDRA." This means fans can look forward to a fight between agents and HYDRA. Agents must stop HYDRA and its associates from completely destroying the organization and causing more damage.

The synopsis about "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." finale describes episode 22 as an "explosive" one.

Furthermore, Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed his return to the show during its finale. While speaking to Vulture, the actor revealed he will reprise his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury in the last episode of the series. In the interview he did not reveal much except that his absence "ties into the TV show."
