On Thursday, May 8, 2014, ABC officially announced show's return and ordered 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2, according to HitFix. The channel also ordered a new Marvel's show called "Agent Carter."

Ever since the show returned from its mid-season hiatus, it gained a huge fan following. These fans are now looking forward to the second installment of the series.

Details about "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 are still unknown. However, In Entertainment reports that fans can expect some of the show's big characters to return. The Web site notes Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson, Elizabeth Henstridge's Jemma Simmons, Ming-Na Wen's Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker's Leo Fitz and Chloe Bennet's Skye are expected to return in season 2.

Meanwhile, in an interview with ComingSoon.net, Clark Gregg teased spoilers from season 1 finale and revealed details about what to expect in season 2. The interviewer asked if the season finale will "put a bed" the show's storyline involving HYDRA to give Season 2 a fresh start.

Responding to the question, Clark Gregg revealed he expected something wrong is going to happen in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier' within S.H.I.E.L.D." But he didn't see things will become so bad they would "potentially become agents of NOTHING."

"The level to which that's a gamechanger becomes very clear in the season finale and there are a couple things that happen in the season finale that blew my mind and suggests the direction of what might be happening in Season 2," added Clark Gregg.

Furthermore, the actor opined there is more to the mystery of T.A.H.I.T.I. The story about the place from Phil Coulson's past is not yet over. He suggested there is a "huge reveal at the end of the last episode when we find out who is in charge of the project." Earlier, viewers saw Coulson and Skye recuperate from fatal injuries only when they were injected with serum from a blue alien. Clark Gregg suggests it wouldn't be too late into season 2 when they find out what species that is.

Earlier, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Jed Whedon revealed that by the end of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 1 finale fans will be "desperate" for another season. The EP revealed the end of the ongoing season will be satisfactory, but they are "teeing up stuff to come."

While there is no solid information available about "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2, fans must wait. Meanwhile, fans know that show's Season Finale- Episode 24 titled "Beginning of the End" is set to air on May 13, 2014. So, don't forget to tune into ABC on Tuesday night at 8 Pm.
