"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 kicks off with an action-filled explosive Episode 1. It will bring back many of the main cast members including Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Ming Na Wen as Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward and others.

ABC has released a synopsis teasing exciting spoilers from "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 Premiere (Episode 1) "Shadows." According to the media report, the agents are "now wanted fugitives" being hunted by their enemies. The team is struggling to survive "with limited resources." However, such adverse circumstances fail to stop them from going after their goal of protecting the world from "powerful and unseen threats."

In the last season, fans saw how the most trusted members of the S.H.I.E.L.D. betrayed Phil Coulson leading to the destruction of the organization. The new season will reportedly introduce some new agents. But it remains to be seen if these new entries can be relied on or not.

Fans must prepare themselves to meet a new agent named Lance Hunter being portrayed by Nick Blood. ABC's description of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 states Hunter is a "dashing mercenary sharp shooter with a quick wit."

Some other new faces that fans are going to see on the show are Lucy Lawless as Isabelle Hartley, Reed Diamond as Daniel Whitehall, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Brian Patrick as Carl Creel and Simon Kassianides as Sunil Bakshi.

Guest starring actors of the Season 2 Premiere (Episode 1) "Shadows" includes Adrian Pasdar as Glenn Talbot, Henry Simmons as Mack, B.J. Britt as Antoine Triplett, and Patton Oswalt as Agent Billy Koenig.

Meanwhile, Lucy Lawless has dished out some details from "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2. The "Xena" actress told TV Line, that her character is "an old friend" of Phil Coulson and one of the few people he believes he can trust. Also, her character is quite fond of Agent Coulson. Talking about other new characters, Lawless revealed that Hunter's main motive in the mission is money and Idaho is her well-trained student.
