The last-aired episode revolved around Simmons' undercover mission. The segment also introduced new agent in the organisation Bobbi Morse or Mockingbird, who rescued Simmons after her secret was exposed to HYDRA by Raina. According to the report, things take a dangerous turn in "A Fractured House" HYDRA poses as S.H.I.E.L.D. and attacks the peacekeeping body United Nations. The mission is led by "an unexpected enemy" who aims at destroying the crime-fighting organisation S.H.I.E.L.D. and its members.

TV Fanatic teases the appearance of Grant Ward's brother Senator Christian Ward portrayed by Tim DeKay. It is expected to reveal the truth about Grant's relationship with his older brother that he first talked about to Skye in Season 1 Episode 8. Furthermore, fans can watch out for a special scene from the highly anticipated "Avengers: Age of Ultron" during the upcoming segment of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Marvel broke the news on its official website about the "exclusive piece" from the movie on Oct. 24, 2014 after the massive leak of the much-awaited trailer of the movie. In response to the leak, the studios officially released HD promo before its scheduled launch date.
