She had the opportunity to advance further in the cooking competition by being able to participate in the bittersweet Final Immunity Pin Challenge against professional Chef John Lawson. Chef Lawson has a restaurant aptly called No. 8 by John Lawson.

In this particular immunity challenge, Amy and Chef Lawson have the option to choose ingredients that are of a bitter or sweet nature. As the special guest of the show, Chef Lawson gets to decide which table of ingredients they will use for their recipes. He picked out the bitter table.

Amy decided to make a Lobster, Citrus and Sorrel dish and she chose these ingredients: a grapefruit, sorrel leaves, 1 whole lobster, grapeseed oil, a lemon, some sea salt and olive oil and an egg.
