In "MasterChef Australia 6," Episode 49, the contestants were challenged by Chef Heston Blumenthal, owner of Michelin-recognised restaurants The Fat Duck, The Hinds Head and The Crown in Bray, Berkshire and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London, at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. He is also set to launch The Perfectionists' Cafe at the London Heathrow Terminal 2.

Amy, Ben, Brent, Emelia, Jamie, Laura and Tracy had to make dishes using only the ingredients found in the house they were in.

As usual "MasterChef Australia" 6 judges George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston were there to facilitate the challenge and to offer their sage advice, as well as assist Chef Blumenthal to judge who among the Top 7 contestants made the best dish that impressed all of them.
