"MasterChef Australia" Season 6, episode 60 aired on Monday, July 28, 2014. It featured the Top 2 Grand Finalists Brent Owens and Laura Cassai battling it out to emerge as the winner. In "MasterChef Australia" Season 6, episode 60, Brent and Laura cooked with one intention in mind: to win! They had to prove their cooking mettle in a three round duel. The last round involved a Pressure Test to replicate Chef Peter Gilmore's Chocolate Ethereal dish.

As usual, "MasterChef Australia" Season 6 judges George Calombaris, Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan were present to give last minute instructions as well as taste and judge the dishes that Laura and Brent prepared.

Brent and Laura's families also visited them to give moral support and encouragement.

In the end, Brent Owens, the 24-year-old Bobcat Driver from Victoria beat out Laura Cassai, the 19-year-old Health Science Student from South Australia! Owens not only won the title, but also the $250,000 dollars (AUD) prize money. Congratulations, Brent!
