With still eight weeks, reality TV food contest MasterChef seems to turn into a one-horse race.

Carrie Johnston tipped fellow MasterChef contestant Marion Grasby to win the 2010 season of the show, saying that Grasby is a cooking inspiration.

Former contestants Dominic Corrigan, Philip Vakos and Courtney Roulston also gave high regards to Grasby, saying that she will have the winner's podium, following season one's winner Julie Goodwin.

"She really is incredible," Johnston told Confidential.

"She is talented and considerate and she copes with the pressure really well. She puts up dishes that inspire all of us. She is doing an exceptional job."

Comments made by Johnston reignited debates about bias after evicted cook Daniel Aulsebrook accused the makers of the show and its judges to favour Grasby and Alvin Quah.

"There isn't and never has been any favouritism," a rep from Ten said last night.

"They all make progress based on their cooking ability."

Marion Grasby is a journalist, customer service manager, food writer and celebrity chef prior to MasterChef.
