Matt Bomer Set To Appear Full Time In Movies After 'White Collar' Season 6 Finale
"White Collar" star Matt Bomer says "Au Revoir" to the USA Network TV series as well as his con-artist character Neal Caffrey. However, the fans can still see the 37-year-old actor in his new projects mostly on the big screen.
According to a Bustle report, Matt Bomer is set to appear full time in movies after starring in over 80 episodes of "White Collar" and taking on supporting roles in films over the last couple of years such as "Magic Mike," "In Time" and "The Normal Heart." There is also a possibility that the actor will continue appearing in television series after taking a part in the "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
Matt Bomer's upcoming movie projects include providing his voice in the animated film titled "B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations" where the U.S. government operates a secret agency of friendly ghosts that protect the people from the mean supernatural forces haunting them and "Monty Clift" where the actor will portray the mid-century movie star Montgomery Clift.
The film will reportedly focus on the time that actor Montgomery Clift worked on "A Place in the Sun" with actress Elizabeth Taylor, whom he had a deep friendship with. In July 2015, Matt Bomer is set to return in the "Magic Mike" movie sequel titled "Magic Mike: XXL."
The movie sequel's plot will revolve on a big road trip that the male strippers took before they resign from their sexy strip dancing profession. Meanwhile, a Just Jared report revealed that actor Matt Bomer currently films another upcoming movie project under his sleeve titled "The Nice Guys."
Captured images show Matt Bomer taking an aim at co-star Ryan Gosling with a prop gun on the set of his latest film in Altanta, Georgia last Wednesday, Dec. 10. The report further added that the "White Collar" star was also spotted filming a similar scene a couple of days ago with the setting on a rooftop. Click HERE to see photos.
In 2015, the fans can catch Matt Bomer attending the 2015 Golden Globe awards where he received a nomination for his work in "The Normal Heart." The actor is nominated in the "Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or TV Movie" category for the role of Felix Turner in the Ryan Murphy-directed drama television film.
