Matt Bomer will be seen in an episode of "The New Normal" as the "sexy ex-boyfriend" of Bryan (Andrew Rannells). How will David (Justin Bartha) react?

The "White Collar" actor had some free time because his own series won't come back until January next year. Bomer also guest starred on Glee several months ago while "White Collar" was on hiatus.

Bomer will appear on "The New Normal" as Drew. It will unfold that Drew and Bryan didn't work out because [SPOILER ALERT] of a double-cheating incident.

One, Drew cheated on Bryan. Two, Drew cheated on Bryan with a girl! So there, a double-cheating whammy. Fans could just imagine how Bryan would react in their upcoming encounter. More important, how would David interact with the ex?

The New Normal Episode 7: "The Godparent Trap"

Godparent-ing is the central theme of The New Normal's latest episode. Under the subject come the topics of life, faith, and family.

Little Shania (Bebe Wood) shines again in this special episode. She becomes the glue that seals her mother's bond with David and Bryan. Not only that, she wins the search for the best grandparent, too.

The New Normal has often made attempts at making emotional connection to its viewers. It would do well by being a creative comedy show that tickles the mind instead of a social commentary poking at the wrong doors. Still, its most recent attempt worked because the ingredients were mixed in just right.

The next episode, "Para-New Normal Activity," airs on October 30. May this all be about a crazy funny Halloween.
