Actor Matt Bomer has been busy making appearances in New York City and Los Angeles. The 36-year-old "White Collar" star recently attended the 2014 Hall of Game Awards at Santa Monica's Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, California after promoting his new film "Winter's Tale" in New York City as well as appearing at "The Great American Songbook Gala."

According to the Just Jared report, Matt Bomer attended Cartoon Network's Feb. 15 event with "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner and "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey also present. Tyler, 22, even posted on Twitter his excitement to attend the Hall of Game awards. Click HERE to see event photos.

Before heading to Los Angeles, Matt Bomer stayed in New York City where he promoted his new film "Winter's Tale" and attended "The Great American Songbook Gala" on Monday night, Feb. 10. The actor was spotted leaving the Soho hotel on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 12, in the Big Apple with his partner Simon Halls. Click HERE to see photos.

The "Magic Mike" actor was present at the Songbook Gala to honor his partner Simon Hall's college roommate, the CAA talent agent Bryan Lourd. Variety reports that Mr Bomer even performed at the Alice Tully Hall with Bryan Lourd's 21-year-old daughter Billie.

The event included "a starry collection of clients and friends" gathered together to honor and serenade Mr Lourd. "Anne Hathaway sang LCD Soundsystem's 'New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down,' which started torchy but built to a rocking conclusion complete with a burst of air guitar, while Matt Bomer called up Billie Lourd - the daughter of the evening's honoree - to join him onstage for a rendition of Neil Young's 'Old Man'," the Variety report reads.

Billie Lourd, the honoree's daughter, cracked on stage that she and Matt Bomer could not find the song titled "Middle Aged Man" so the two decided to perform a rendition of Neil Young's "Old Man." Other celebrities photographed arriving at the gala included Liam Neeson and director Darren Aronofsky. Click HERE to see photos.

Lincoln Center chair Katherine Farley revealed that the crowd of some 750 attendees was "twice as many as usually turn out" for the annual American Songbook gala. With that, twice as much money was raised compared to what the event usually do therefore bringing in $2.75 million amount for the nonprofit Lincoln Center.
