Real-life buddies Hollywood Actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up as executive producers for half-hour CBS comedy called "More Time with Family."

Deadline.com reported that CBS bagged this project after giving its "put pilot commitment," which guarantees that the network will pick the pilot. Comedian Tom Papa will be involved in the sitcom produced by 20th Century Fox TV.

The new comedy is aboout the character of Papa "who changes his career and gives up a life on the road to spend more time at home with his family. But when he gets there, he realizes no one asked him to do that.

Papa and Damon have already worked together on "Behind the Candelabra" and "The Informant" and the comedy concept was brought to life by these actors.

Deadline.com said Papa and Damon met Affleck for the comedy and then he came onboard as an executive producer. Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith will be the writers for this comedy.

Pearl Street Films, Affleck's production company, wants to make its comedy debut on television. In February, it was reported that Fox gave a pilot order to the crime drama, "The Middle Man" pitched by Affleck's company. Affleck is directing the Fox's crime drama, while Glenn Gordon Caron is writing it.

This is not the first Damon and Affleck are partnering for a television project. These two Hollywood actors were part of LivePlanet.

LivePlanet, according to Deadline.com, has produced several TV shows since 2000. These included drama series such as "Push" and "Nevada." It has also produced a documentary series, "Project Greenlight."
