Model and video jockey Ruby Rose was stripped off her clothes on the upcoming October issue cover of Maxim.

This is the first nude photo shoot of Ruby Rose. The VJ said that she had done this in conjunction with her conviction against wearing of fur and support to the animal right group PETA.

Ruby Rose joined other high profile celebrities on their campaign against wearing of fur. She said that she was supposed to do the "ink and mink" campaign as part of her long term relationship with the organization. However, things really got caught up. Thus, she agreed to do the "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign.

During the photo shoot, Ruby Rose donned various wigs. The release of the cover is timely to the recent fur controversy on the Australia's Next Top Model, wherein contestants were asked to wear fur in the tribal-themed photo shoot.

"They could have so easily used faux fur and even a lot of heavy hitters in fashion avoid fur. It's unacceptable in this day and age in most people's eyes and it saddens me that this can still occur," Ruby Rose said when asked about the show's controversy,

The Maxim cover photo was taken by Carlotta Moye at Middle Head Fort in Mosman, Sydney.
