McKayla Maroney And Liz Lee Nude Photos Fall Under Child Pornography, Website Users Panic Even After Removal
The leaked nude pictures of American gymnast McKayla Maroney and MTV actress Liz Lee could fall under the category of child pornography and the websites that published them have issued notices to their users to remove them. Maroney and Lee were reportedly under 18 years of age at the time their controversial pictures were taken. It is considered illegal for any website to publish nude photographs of women who are minors.
Many websites, including porn.com and Reditt, have removed the controversial pictures from their boards. They have issued a strict warning to their site vistors and readers to not to post them. On Reddit, many users also shared detailed instructions on how to completely remove any remaining trace of their potential criminal activity of indulging into child pornography.
"The reddit.com site admins have let us know that McKayla Maroney was underage in the photos as well and that we need to remove them. If we don't remove them, then this subreddit will most likely be banned (very quickly)," reads the message from the admin of the group TheFappening on Internet picture sharing site Reddit, where the nude pictures have been posted.
The message also states that actress Liz Lee was not part of the leaks but any of her nude pictures shared on many forums of the website need to be removed, immediately. "Liz's pictures were taken in 2007 when she was 16 years old by an ex of hers. He is a current sex offender because he posted them to 4chan. We have been instructed by the reddit admins to remove these images as well," says the message.
After the strict warning message from the admin, many users, who were a part of the nude pictures scandal of underage celebrities, have panicked. They asked the moderators in the comments section of the main post if the celebrities have already "contacted the cyber police" and what will be consequences that they will have to face now. Some of the suggestions given to them were to go for "complete history erosion" on their computers and some even suggested to douse "fire inside your home" to remove the evidence completely.
