Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr spent her Valentine's Day yesterday with a lot of fans as she promoted her line of cosmetics and moisturizers Kora Organics during the David Jones event in Sydney.

The popular lingerie model never failed to promote her business of au naturel and environment-friendly products at various events. However, yesterday's event subjected the fans and consumers to a major marketing ploy by Miranda's team.

The yesterday's event included a meet-and-greet session and getting a free 'Be My Valentine' cards signed by Miranda Kerr. However, fans that would like to get these privileges must purchase two Kora Organics products.

Kora staff were also monitoring the people on the queue and asking to see the receipts. Thus, this will prevent consumers who brought their previously bought Kora products.

There were already a hundred plus customers on the line. A jovial Kora representative encouraged the consumers to purchase the products by saying, "Go and buy two lip balms and then you can give one to your Valentine and keep one, and both will be signed by Miranda!"

The staff informed the media that despite the invitation to the members of press and Miranda in her in-store appearance, the model will not be doing interviews. The media were also shunned away and were told not to approach the model as a paying customer or not.

Miranda's husband Orlando Bloom was in New Zealand to shoot the film "The Hobbit," which is the prequel of The Lord of Rings trilogy. The couple spent Valentine's Day apart as the two attended to their professional commitments. Miranda spent the rest of the day with her son, Flynn.

Kora Organics is family-owned business with Therese (Miranda's mom) handling the business. Miranda served as the prime shareholder and the face of Kora. Kora Organics is a cosmetic line using non-chemical components and ingredients.
