Meet Miss World 2013 Megan Youngs' Equally Beautiful Sister Lauren Young [PHOTOS]

Beating 126 contestants for the renowned title of Miss World 2013, Megan Young of the Philippines emerged victorious. Like every other Filipino celebrating the win, Megan's sister, Lauren Young is all the more happy for her sister's victory. Will Lauren Young be following in the steps of her sister soon?

Megan Young of the Philippines successfully won the title of Miss World 2013 in the event held in Bali, Indonesia last Saturday. Social media sites around the world exploded with glee following Megan's win. If there is one person who is happy for Young's win, it would be none other than her sister, Lauren Young.

"It's like her success is also my success. Because when she won, I was there and I was able to absorb it," stated Lauren in an interview with Phil Star.

Given her sister had won the crown, would Lauren Young be following in the steps of Megan?

"It's hard to follow the footsteps of Megan because the first time she joined, nanalo siya, (she won)," stated Lauren.

For this Young sister, Lauren's focus will solely be on acting. To date, Lauren is currently the star of one of Philippines' biggest television networks, GMA.

"As an artist, they will see me evolve on this show," said Lauren, adding, "This is a game-changer for me."

Even if Lauren will be known around the world as Miss World's 2013 Megan Young's little sister, Lauren finds it rather pleasing.

"It actually gives me perks because people will know me as Megan Young's little sister. But it's not hard because she's very supportive and she teaches me what to do," stated Lauren, adding, "It's anything but difficult to be her sister."
