Megamind topped the box office over the weekend, taking in more than $30 million on its second week. According to new data released by Nielsen EDI, the animated movie starring Tina Fey, Will Ferell, and Brad Pitt managed to stay on top for its second week, although ticket sales dropped by as much as 34%.

As it tops the box office for the second straight weeekend, Megamind stopped Denzel Washington's Unstoppable from debuting at number one spot, but the latter did took in a hefty $23, 500, 000 in ticket sales. Still, it's far behind Megamind's $30, 055, 000 take over its second week.

Megamind now has $89, 757, 000 in cumulative box office, thoughout its entire run. So far, it also topped highest gross per screen, averaging $7, 610 for 3, 949 screens. However, it still has not beaten Jackass 3D for the highest grossing movie this year.
