Actress Megan Fox says that she was not kicked out from "Transformers 3".

According to reports earlier Wednesday (May 19), Fox, who appeared in the first two installments of the "Transformers", wouldn't be part of the third installment. A rep from Paramount told MTV News that Fox's option wasn't renewed.

Now, the actress is saying that she herself decided to leave.

"Megan Fox will not be starring in 'Transformers 3'. It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best," Fox's reps told People Magazine.

During the release of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" last summer, Fox and director Michael Bay exchanged heated words. Fox compared Bay to Hitler, while Bay said that Fox "still has a lot of growing up to do."

Deadline.com broke the news that Paramount refused to pick up Fox's contractual option for the "Transformers 3". An unnamed source said that star Shia LaBeouf having a new love interest "makes more sens for the story."

In the meantime, Fox's new project "Jonah Hex", alongside Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Will Arnett, will be released on June 18.
