"You can never go wrong with kindness," writes Miss World 2013 Megan Young on Twitter and it seems her fans have just followed her by forgiving Devina DeDiva or Devina Sharma, who has been the subject of backlash and the most hated girl in the Philippines.

Devina was suspended from Facebook, Twitter and even fired from her job when she passed racist remarks about newly crowned Miss World 2013 and called her a "filthy, smelly, poor maid." She suffered public hatred and was bashed by Megan's fans who created hatred pages for her on all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and even on YouTube.

"Miss Philippines is Miss World? What a joke! I did not know those maids have anything else in them," the famous Facebook quote of Devina Dediva.

Devina's screenshot of comments about Young and Filipinas in general flooded the social networking sites after it was seen on Devina's facebook Wall.

After facing huge backlash, Devina created a new Twitter account and apologized to Megan Young saying, "Im so sorry @meganbata and to all the Filipinos out there. Sorry. I don't have a twitter account so I made one just to show my apology."

"Please show me filipinos are willing to forgive someone. That's all I want. Again, I'm sorry," Devina pleaded then. But it took some time even for the large hearted Filipinos to forgive Devina as her comments were not only racist to Megan but the whole country.

"Forgiven.. For sure many of them did already.. at least you've learned your lesson.. Take care.." wrote Umerahhashm on Twitter on October 14.

"I hope you have learn from it that pepeol [sic] not going look back what you have doing . bhat [sic]she going look forwards," write another Twitter user Dominique.

"I admire you so much in facing your mistake. Keep it up.. You're forgiven.. :-)," writes Radex Rosario on Twitter.

"It's a nightmare!..move on girl..be nice to everyone..be safe always," wrote Alyssa on Twitter assuring Devina that she has been forgiven for what she did.

However the Facebook Community of Devina Dediva Haters is yet to forgive the ignorance of her comments and are demanding a video apology.

" I can't believe it! She was so strong in her words during the time she was criticizing the ppl of the Philipines. And now saying sorry as if nothing had happened? I don't think she is really sorry. She's only doing this bec. She had no choice. I don't believe that a person can actually change in one night. She can't take back what she had said. I can't just say...oh, yes apology accepted.," wrote Carolina Nishikawa on Facebook page.

"Devina Deviva:..if u really want to be FORGIVE by the filipino people you have to make a clip in video that you really sorry for what you've done..bcoz maybe they can forgive you if they know that you are SINCERE of your apology," writes another user Maritoni on Facebook.

"Yes, a public APOLOGY in VIDEO is not bad, so to satisfy all and believed, that she regreted really," writes Suzi Gonocruz. on Facebook.

Though the number of people forgiving Devina is comparatively lesser but over a period of time, her name will soon gather dust. Public memory is short. Megan's name would be known to everyone and continue to shine. Miss World 2013 has also said that the issue should not be entertained. "I wish her the best," she added.
