Mel Gibson's ex Oksana Grigorieva lose 41st lawyer, hires 42nd
Mel Gibson's Russian ex-girlfriend and the mother of her child, Oksana Grigorieva lose her 41st lawyer, but quickly hired her 42nd.
In a report by entertainment Web site TMZ, Grigorieva's PR manager Steve Jaffe revealed that Alan Shifman, Oksana's family lawyer, left the case in a decision described by Jaffe as a mutual one.
Shifman was Oksana's 41st lawyer to leave the case involving accusations of domestic violence against Hollywood actor Mel Gibson.
But Oksana had already hired her 42nd lawyer identified by TMZ as Ronald A. Litz who was quoted by the website as saying: "I would like to bring some peace to the situation so the child doesn't suffer."
"I will try my best to resolve this matter expeditiously and hopefully in a mutually agreeable manner," Litz said.
In other news, at a recent custody case of Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva the Los Angeles court judge ordered Mel to pay child support for his daughter.
Gibson's legal team asked for a rent deduction of $6000 from the $20,000 that he is supposed to pay per month. But the judge ordered that Gibson to pay an amount totaling $60,000.
