Celebrities have all dressed up for Australia's best known horse racing event held at Flemington racecourse. Actors and actresses, reality TV stars, models, and other international personalities made their way for the day's festivities. Some celebrities even shared snaps of their amazing outfits on social media.

TV personality Kris Smith and girlfriend Maddy King squashed the rumours that they have parted ways when they arrived together at Melbourne Cup. Sports Illustrated model Gigi Hadid, who just recently walked the runway in Paris Fashion Week, has flown to Australia for the Melbourne Cup. She was wearing an Alex Perry mini dress in bubblegum pink colour and Chanel bag. She completed her ensemble with a cute stars headdress. Hadid said in a statement that she was extremely thrilled to be back in Australia. She added that she was looking forward to attend the festivities of the biggest racing event in the country.

American actor and singer Ronn Moss was also in attendance at the Emirates Marquee on Melbourne Cup. Ross arrived in Australia ahead of the horse-racing event because he was Sydney FC's guest of honour at the game against the Mariners.

Rebecca Judd arrived in Melbourne in a fitted purple Dolce and Gabbana dress and bag. She has a corset-style bodice around her waist. She completed her outfit with gold peep-toe shoes. Rebecca came with her AFL footballer husband Chris Judd, who donned a grey suit. Rebecca also posted a snap on Instagram.

Former Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch is one of the best dressed celebrities at Melbourne Cup. Finch, who is also a reporter for Channel 7, has been covering the fashions at horse racing event for fourth consecutive year. "En route to the track this morning," Finch wrote on Instagram.

Other celebrities who graced the event include Laura Dundovic, Lisa Hyde, Jasmine Bell, Tully Smith, Sandra Nixon, Kara Bramham, Kate Peck, Lauren Phillips, Johanna Griggs, Rich Sommer, Andy Lee, and newly engaged couple Gabi Grecko and Geoffrey Edelsten. Aside from the pictures shared by the celebrities on social media, Pop Sugar and Elle have compiled beautiful snaps and candids ahead of Melbourne Cup.

The 2014 Emirates Melbourne Cup officially started on Nov. 4. It is the 154th edition of Australia's most prestigious horse racing event.
