The 2012 Brit Awards was certainly not just about Adele and her flipping the finger but also a lot of other highlights for the night.

Here we feature the most memorable moments of the awards night and other happenings that you may have missed seeing.

There was James Corden cutting Adele short as the singer was giving her speech for the win which for which the host got a lot of boos from.

The classic music icon, George Michael, received such an amazing standing ovation as he was present to render the Best British Album of the Year. He came all the way from Australia and he eventually presented the award to Adele who also got a standing ovation herself.

Adele expressed how proud and happy she was not just upon receiving the award in her own homeland but also grabbing six prestigious Grammys from the US. When the host cut her off, this was when Adele gave the middle finger before saying goodbye.

James Corden said that he felt bad for having no choice but to follow the orders of the bosses. At the same time, Adele said that she gave the finger not for her fans but for the suits. It was the indie band, Blur who performed next after the controversial thank you speech of the 'Rolling in the Deep' singer.

Ed Sheeran was the main winner of the event while Adele took home two awards. A lot of performances came out amazing marking the 32nd year of the event.

There were Coldplay, Bruno Mars with Blur, Olly Murs, Rihanna, Florence and the Machine and a lot more. Rihanna was seen with around 40 dancers to deliver the seemingly most vulgar performance of the night.
