Men In Black 3: The First Teaser
As cinemas get ready for the holiday movie season, studios are gearing up for their summer 2013 blockbusters by dishing out different promotional materials. Sony's "Men in Black 3" is no exception.
"Matt spotted the first teaser poster for Sony's Men in Black 3 and snapped a picture. The poster's pretty effective (though slightly headache-inducing if you look too closely) as a bunch of "MIB3" logos make up Tommy Lee Jones's face," reports Collider on the promotional poster.
The poster silhouettes the face of Jones's face using countless "MIB 3" typography.
Tommy Lee might be the poster boy for MIB's third installment, however he will have a much smaller role in this movie that the previous two.
The plot goes like this: J will travel back in time to save a much younger agent K, as well as avert a world-ending disaster.
Along with Jones, Will Smith will reprise his role as Agent J, while the younger Agent K will be played by Josh Brolin. Other stars that will join the "Men in Black 3" cast are Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, and Jemaine Clement of "Flight of the Choncords" fame.
Josh Brolin first acting role in a film was in the iconic 1985 adventure film "The Goonies," and then broke through the modern Hollywood scene with the Tarantino-helmed "Planet Terror" in the double feature "Grindhouse." His extensive works consists of mostly villainous roles in films like "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps," "Milk," and "No Country for Old Men."
It should be noted however, that "Men in Black 3" did not come out of production unscathed.
"More static has arisen with the filming of chase scenes that have shut down portions of streets around New York City, diverting traffic and generally pissing off the local populace," reports The Wrap.
"Meanwhile, Smith has been throwing his weight around, leading to leaks off the set about demanding behavior -- ordering that a set be torn down because 'it wasn't right,' and that another set be rebuilt to accommodate his improvisations," they continued regarding Smith's grand demands while filming.
But as 2011 ends with a promo poster, it can be rest assured that a trailer of the much-awaited alien movie is well on its way.
