District 9 star Sharlto Copley is rumored set to join Men in Black 3, as an alien similar to Star Wars' Yoda, but a lot less cryptic.

Copley is said to be currently negotiating for a role in the film, joining Alec Baldwin and Gemma Arterton in the roasters of Hollywood actors attached to the second sequel to the 1997 film.

Arterton and Baldwin will be featured in the 1969 version of the MIB agency as much of the sequel's plot revolves around time traveling. Previously, Josh Brolin was announced to be cast as a younger version of Agent K. However, Tommy Lee Jones is rumored set to make an appearance in the film.

Former Pussycat Dolls lead Nicole Scherzinger is set for a cameo role in Men in Black 3, as the girlfriend of Yaz, played by Jemaine Clement.

As previoulsy announced this month, Harry Potter actress Emma Thompson will join MIB as Agent Oh, described as a take-charge MIB operative who monitors a prison breakout.

Men in Black 3 is expected to shoot in New York City starting October through May of 2011.
