Avid viewers of The Mentalist Season 6 were disappointed after CBS re-scheduled Episode 6, "Fire and Brimstone." - Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) and Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) tearfully hug it out before a setting sun. It is unexpected and emotional for Lisbon. But Jane totally ruins the moment.

- Jane successfully gathers all of his remaining Red John suspects in a Malibu house. (Guess whose house?)

- A whistling Bret Stiles (Malcolm McDowell) is the first to arrive in the Malibu rendezvous.

- Ray Haffner (Reed Diamond) is the first to attempt a walkout, but Jane brings out the rifle and asks him to sit back.

- Reede Smith (Drew Powell) is the first - and last - to try to pull out a weapon. (He is the first to get really impatient, or it may all be part of their show.)

- The 3-dot tattoo on the left arm is not a very helpful clue, after all. (Viewers got to see how it looks like, exactly. This will not be spoiled here. It must be noted that many fans in forum sites have speculated on the exact same reveal a week ago.)

- Teresa Lisbon arrives in the front yard but a huge explosion keeps her from making an entrance. Cut to credits.

In the end it was clear The Mentalist Season 6, Episode 6 ("Fire and Brimstone") was only a prelude to the next episode, "The Great Red Dragon." Patrick Jane may or may not caused the explosion, but CBI will be on it. Episode 7 airs on CBS on Nov. 17.
