"The Mentalist" Season 6, Episode 19 airs Sunday, Apr. 27, on CBS. This week's new episode is called, "Brown Eyed Girls." Reports say the season finale will feature something special for the Jisbon (Jane and Lisbon) shippers. Meanwhile, a report said this Bruno Heller creation might need a new home network.

Spoiler alert: This episode contains spoilers on The Mentalist Season 6. Episode 19 is only a couple of episodes away from the season finale, which some fans fear could be the series finale.

In a report, Deadline.com examined some home network options for The Mentalist Season 7 in case CBS does not pick it up for a renewal. Nellie Andreeva's report also cited a "transition plan" in case creator Bruno Heller becomes too busy doing "Gotham" on FOX.

"The Mentalist" is currently airing on CBS Sunday primetime with "The Good Wife" starring Julianna Margulies. While TGW has an official renewal nod, The Mentalist remains up in the air.

In The Mentalist Season 6, Episode 18 ("Forest Green"), Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) is invited by FBI beau Marcus Pike (Pedro Pascal) to move to DC with him. Mid-season, Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) virtually forced Abbott (Rockmond DUnbar) to get Lisbon on board. What happens now?

"It's a romantic finale rather than a [suspenseful] finale," TVGuide quoted Bruno Heller as saying. For Jisbon fans, this means there is hope for Jane and Lisbon to figure out their feelings for each other now that Red John is dead. However, Jane could be out of the "romantic" picture in The Mentalist Season 6 finale.

It seems Heller does not want to shut down any Jisbon possibility, though. "With the death of Red John, there's a sense of tying [a new kind of relationship] up and certainly this romantic angle is one of them," he added. The Mentalist Season 6 finale is reportedly called, "Blue Bird Inn."

The Mentalist writers have called it a wrap on Twitter earlier this month. If it is true that they have been "released" as reported, there is less hope for a Season 7.
