After 5 years and over 100 episodes, viewers will soon find out who Red John is. The series could also meet its end, according to creator Bruno Heller, who confirms RJ will be caught next season. But Heller also hints there could be an alternative future ahead, after Red John is caught or killed.

The Mentalist Season 6 premiere could shrink Patrick Jane's suspects from 7 to 6. Who do you think will be struck off the list? Matt Webb Mitovich's TV Line scoop cited Bruno Heller as saying, "by the end of the premiere episode, there may be one less suspect."

One of the seven Red John suspects is really Jane nemesis' himself. But Heller would keep the viewers guessing for a while. To make things simpler for many fans, Heller assures everyone Patrick Jane is not Red John.

The Mentalist Season 6 premiere will have the fans reviewing Jane's suspects: Bret Stiles, Gale Bertram, Raymond Haffner, Reede Smith, Bob Kirkland, Sheriff McAllister, and Brett Partridge. If any one among Haffner, Kirkland and Partridge is eliminated first, it would be a shocker. These three are among the top RJ suspects in many online TV forum sites.

The Mentalist Season 6 premiere is called, "The Desert Rose." Lauren Stamile makes a guest appearance as Madison Yardley, the wife of a murder victim.
