MET Gala 2014 Metallic Fashion Feud: Kristen Stewart VS Brie Larson - Who Carried the Look Better?
Metallic dresses ruled the gala event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute on Monday night with both Kristen Stewart and Brie Larson opting to go all shimmer and shiny for the red carpet. Actress Brie Larson looked dramatic in her golden Prada dress and was accompanied by "Twilight" actress in a shiny black Chanel dress.
Both beauties stunned everyone with their choice of fashion. Brie's dress was golden with sequins and oodles of glitter. She wore a two piece Prada dress which had flared bottoms in all golden colour and her top had a hint of shiny navy blue to it.
The actress also did a dramatic hairdo which consisted of a top knot. Brie completed her look with a yellow gold and white diamond Gaydamak hand bracelet and rings from designer Marina B. She looked all rock and punk at the event where the dress theme was ball gown.
"How totally embarrassing for Brie Larson who showed up to the Met Gala in this overly golden getup. In fact, she looks more in line with 2013's punk theme!" writes celebrity blogged Perez Hilton on his Web site.
Meanwhile, Kristen too opted to go for a metallic look at the gala event. She kept her hair colour as it is - orange. The 24-year-old "Twilight" star stunned everybody with the choice of her dress as she attended the opening of the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion," exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2014 Costume Institute Benefit in NYC on May 5.
Kristen opted to wear an amalgamation of silver black and gold for the attire, which had sequins, tulle, and feathers too! The dress accentuated her slim waist and her long lanky legs through a see through skirt. Kristen tucked her hair at the back but let the entire orange hair fall over her face in waves.
Meanwhile check out the pictures of both the beauties in the slideshow above. Who carried the metallic look better - Kristen or Brie?
