Metal has this uncanny ability to make a song better. Andrew Baena's YouTube channel's latest offering is in the form of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball."

Metal, unlike other genres, is quite versatile and it is amazing how YouTube musicians like Andrew and For Salvation give these pop tunes a great twist and make them heavy without compromising on the core of the song. It is not that metal musicians wish to prove a point here by making such covers, they do it because it is possible and fun.

With everyone seems to be joining the Djentleman's Club, "Wrecking Ball's" cover, too, was done in the djent fashion.

A combination of clean and growl, For Salvation makes "Wrecking Ball" quite a listen. Decent job on the vocals by the man as he sings, passionately, imagining Miley Cyrus swinging on that wrecking ball, naked.

Apart from Miley Cyrus, Andrew has covered numerous other artists like Katy Perry, PSY, Adele, and Justin Bieber. He has also covered metal outfits like Born of Osiris, Trivium, White Chapel, Veil of Maya, The Devil Wears Prada, After The Burial, Of Mice and Men, Linkin Park and Attila.

Many are quite happy with the "Wrecking Ball" cover, it is heavy and groovy. You can headbang to Miley Cyrus, now. That's cool, isn't it?

However, we are eagerly waiting for a thrash or death metal version of "Wrecking Ball," or a gore grind version. We can expect a cover from Putrid Pile as Shaun LaCanne posted this picture on his Facebook account.

Enjoy the covers!

We have "Gangnam Style" by PSY from Andrew Baena.
