Following MH370 and MH17 tragedies, a Malaysia Airlines' female passenger felt anxious about traveling with the airline. The woman now claims that a steward "sexually assaulted" her onboard flight MH20.

According to Strait Times, the incident of the alleged "sexual assault" took place on Aug. 4, 2014 when Malaysia Airlines flight MH20 was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Paris. The case that has brought Malaysia Airlines again under fire reportedly involves an Australian passenger- who was "scared of flying with the disaster-prone airline"- and chief steward.

The report notes that the passenger from Australia filed a complaint against the steward when the plane landed at Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport. She reportedly told the officers that she had informed the crew members of Malaysia Airlines flight MH20 about her fear of travelling with the airline "in the wake of the two disasters."

Malaysia Airlines is still reeling from two tragedies that took place within the time period of six months. On March 8, 2014, MH370 went missing and remains unfound even after five months of its disappearance. On July 17, 2014, flight MH17 was shot down in eastern Ukraine sky killing 298 people traveling in the airliner. Both the tragedies led to a great loss and still remain unresolved.

The allegation of sexual assault by chief steward on an Australian passenger is yet another challenge to deal with for Malaysia Airlines.

In an official statement, Malaysia Airlines confirmed the allegations of MH20's Australian passenger. It even stated that the member of the cabin crew, who is responsible for "inappropriate sexual behavior," has been "detained" in France.

"Malaysia Airlines expects and accepts nothing short of the highest standards of conduct from its crew and takes any such allegations very seriously," the company said in the official statement posted on its website malaysiaairlines.com.

Taking responsibility, the company committed to "assist" the French police in investigating the crime and to "stress that the safety, comfort and well-being of our passengers is always our highest priority."

Meanwhile, it is said that the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will be resumed in Sept. As for MH17, the crash site is still being investigated while the authorities do the work of identifying the victims. Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia has declared Aug.22 the national day of mourning for those who lost their lives in shooting of MH17. On this day, the remains of 15 Malaysian victims and one Dutch victim will be taken to Malaysia.
