Dr. Conrad Murray, convicted of causing Michael Jackson's death, was released after serving 2-year jail sentence and soon got reunited with his 4-year old son. Murray had the chance to scoop up his youngest son, Che Giovanni after he was freed from Los Angeles County midnight, Monday, Oct. 28.

"The first thing he wanted to do was hug his little boy. He talked about it for months," Murray’s lawyer, Valerie Wass was quoted as telling the New York Daily News.

Che Giovanni was barely two years old when his father served the sentence for involuntary manslaughter. The doctor’s lawyer described the joy of the father who was locked up for two years.

Wass added, "You can tell by the photos he's thrilled. But even though there's joy to finally be able to hold his son, he also realizes how much he's missed in his children's lives."

Murray has apparently fathered seven kids from four different relationships.and the 4-year-old Che is his youngest child with actress Nicole Alvarez, 31. The newly-freed doctor is currently staying with the mother of his youngest boy.

The NYDN noted that Alvarez has remained supportive of Murray and stayed with him during his ordeals.

"He is with Nicole and his mom now," Murray’s lawyer added. "They have been loyal supporters. They're just spending time reuniting as a family."

The legal counsel pointed out that Murray is set on pursuing his criminal appeal and he plans on asking for his medical license back.
