Michael Jackson's children speak affectionately of their father in The Oprah Winfrey show, describing Jackson to the public for the first time since his death.

Paris and Prince Michael Jackson said that their father tried to shield them from who he was,but that did not worked out very well. The children said that they did not mind going out in public wearing mask and veils since "that allowed us to go out without being recognized."

The twelve year old Paris said, "When we did go out without our dad, other people wouldn't recognize us."

Katherine Jackson said the masks were first suggested by the Machael's kids biological mother, Debbie Rowe.

Paris and the 13-year old Prince Michael are now going in a regular school. Michael Jackson's kids did not veer away from Hollywood: Paris wants to be an actress, while her brother Prince Michael likes to be a movie producer.
