As if he really needs a lot of money, NBA superstar Michael Jordan will not take anything less than $13 million for his 56,000 square foot mansion in Chicago, reported by TMZ.

Jordan and his realtors, Concierge Auctions, pulled off the mansion for auction on Nov. 22, the very same day that it was supposedly scheduled to go down for bidding. According to the spokesperson of Concierge Auctions, some of their clients needed more time to visit the property. However, some people think that the real reason why the auction was postponed is because of the little attention that they actually got, as well as the fact that there was actually no reserve set on the auction yet.

Nevertheless, Concierge Auctions now states that Jordan's mansion will take in $13 million reserve for the said property. Thus, if none of their potential clients bid more than $13 million, Jordan will remain the owner of the palatial house.

The reserve price is literally a huge drop from the initial price that Jordan wants for his 7-acre manor. It has been reported that the house was first put up for sale in the market back in 2012 for $29 million. It was later on reduced to $21 million, but no one bought it still.

The auction is scheduled to go down on Dec. 16.

Concierge Auctions made an infomercial showcasing the amenities of the said mansion, which features an infinity pool, an indoor basketball complex, a cigar room, a wine cellar, home theatre room, snooker room, and tennis court, among many others.

Jordan lived in the house for 19 years. He figured that now is the best time for him to let go of it, given the fact that his kids are all grown up now. He occasionally visits the house, but he now resides in Jupiter, Florida with his wife, 34-year-old model, Yvette Prieto. They are both expecting their first child together as a couple.

Jordan has always been regarded as the greatest basketball player of all-time.
